Engage an Intern.
Ara Art and Design’s internship programme aims to achieve the best outcomes by setting clear expectations from the start. In a similar way D4 design challenges provide a win-win for both the client and student, we believe internships should strive to do the same.
How we define an internship.
We seek to place students into environments where they can work alongside experts and learn the nuances of industry and create great work. In return, you gain diversity in thinking, an injection of enthusiasm and a taste of potential talent.
If you’re after a student to design a piece of collateral for your business at either low, or no-cost, then we don’t consider this an internship. We do promote these opportunities to students via our Work For Hire listings, however, we cannot guarantee your project will be picked up.
How it works.
We pre-filter students and internship opportunities to ensure everyone’s up for the challenge. Standard period of 6 weeks, up to 12hrs per week, no more that 72 hours. A job description including work days is negotiated as part of the internship contract.
